House Design
Integrated Design Associates enjoys bringing their clients ideas to fruition whether in a new house or altering their current home. We are able to assist in large or small projects, varying the style according to the site context, and client requirements. Integrated Design Associates seeks to encourage sustainable use of materials and resources in their buildings by use of recycled or long lasting materials, passive solar and air flow design, and efficient planning.


Services

Note : The needs of each project are determined in consultation with the client and may involve all or a combination of the services listed below.
  • On Site Consultation : We are able to meet with clients to look at house design and construction issues and give advice in a cost effective manner.

  • Concept Design : Often there are a number of design solutions that meet a clients brief. Concept designs are prepared to explore the different ways of resolving the design and establish the extent of the project.

  • Documentation for Council Approval & Construction : Once a direction has been established from the concept design, the project is further refined toward documentation for Council approvals, building tenders and construction.

  • Assistance During Tender & Construction Phase : We can provide assistance as required during the process of selection of builders, tendering, contractual arrangements and management of the construction process.

New Houses

Groves House, Austinmer 2000

This steel framed house was designed to capture the 360 degree views of the Wollongong Escarpment and Coast, whilst providing a comfortable family home.




Hayes House, Callala Beach

A timber framed holiday home built on a constrained and narrow site which has achieved north facing living areas and access to south facing views over Jervis Bay



Old Mandemar Road, Berrima

This family home completed in 1996, was owner built using recycled timbers, bricks, windows and doors, and light weight rendered concrete block.




Alterations & Additions

Montague St, Goulburn

Renovation and additions to an 1870’s brick and stone cottage to access northern sun and views, as well as improve the connections with the garden.




Yamba, Wentworth Falls

Addition to a 1940’s holiday home to create a comfortable family home with studio, and double garages.


Cherrywood:

Replacement of dilapidated stable buildings with a modern series of outbuildings, garages and pergolas. Pergola was built of recycled timbers under an historic 90 year old wysteria.


Before

Cottage Wentworth Falls:

Addition of a living area, deck and carport/pergola to a typical 4 room Edwardian cottage. Recycled timbers, doors and windows used.
